Sometimes you have to try new things. In this case, I was searching for Bald Eagles at the Homer landfill. Even though I found a couple birds,the conditions were terrible and made photography almost impossible. While frustrated and huddled next to one of the landfill buildings, I just began to move my camera around with attached long lens to see what there was to see. The repeating pattern with snow fall captured my eye. I used Photoshop to remove most of the blue tint that the slide had. You're thinking "the image is still blue?" Imagine what it looked like before Photoshop.
