Bald Eagle Portrait

Nikon F5, 500mm f/2.8 AF-S, TC-14e, Matrix Metering, f/8, 1/200, Kinesis Bean Bag, Provia F 400.

This is one of my most favourite Bald Eale portraits. I like it for two reasons. First, he's staring right at you. His glare seems to penetrate you. And second, the composition is atypical--the subject is leaning right and is on the right. I waited for almost two hours for this bird to look directly towards me for just this shot. Being patience definately paid off.
